ATC BOX

Hello everyone!!!! Happy Happy Easter Weekend.  I cant wait to go to my Mom's on Sunday for turkey dinner, mmmm yummm :) Sooo I have become addicted to making ATC's , I have joined some swaps and have been having soo much fun with these little pieces of art.  I decided to make a box to hold them.

I also made a small easel to display the "atc of the month" that just sits on top of the box.  I used paper that has been in my stash for long time that I believe I got from Michaels.  The box was constructed from medium weight chipboard.  Embellished with Recollections flowers, a MS butterfly punch, glimmer mist, distress imks, Tim Holtz die cuts and acrylic paint.

 

 

GARDEN GATE MINI ALBUM

 This was the first Laura Denison project that I ever did.  It is called the Garden Gate Mini.  It uses Prima's Meadow Lark paper.  You can find this pattern on Laura's web site.  Laura Dension Designs.

I created this mini album using Bo Bunny's Country Garden paper, envelopes, I am Roses flower and leaves and Tim Holtz On The Edge Doily Die and Distress inks.

 

CHUNKY ATC SWAP AT MINI ALBUM SCRAPS

I joined a swap over on Mini Album Scraps titles Chunky ATC's Birds, Bees and Trees.   You had to use at least two outta the three items on your ATC.  My first I used all three I inked my version of a honey comb for the background and then added the bird and the tree.  For my second I used a bird and a bee.

ATC MONTHY SWAP

Good morning everyone it is nice to back in the blogging world again.  I have soo much catching up to do to hmmm where do I start.  I joined a couple of swap groups, SUPER FUN people.  The first is the Monthly ATC Swap.  This is  a local swap started by someone I met through the crafting world locally ....isnt it the most wonderful thing the friendships you make through this craft!!!!!  Any ways the first theme was in February , you had to create an ATC that reflected spring this is what I made.  HAPPY CRAFTING!!

WOW!!! It sure has been a long time since I have used my blog.  July 2011 was my last post!!  I guess that is what happens when life gets a little crazy or in my case a lot crazy lol.  I have been doing a lot of crafting , joined some swaps and of course following my paper crafting gurus:  Laura Denison, Kathy Orta, Jim (the Gentleman Crafter) Hankins and Kathryn Krieger.  I have made sooo many of the wonderful projects these super talented people have created that I wanted to start using my blog again to share with my family and friends what I have done.
